Uni alumni support secondary school students

Following an appeal recently by Fochta, eleven university graduated alumni, as listed below, have pledged to contribute in the next 4 years to support several secondary school students their fees. This has come about because in Malawi, studying in secondary schools, which is for four year, is not free, while the eight year primary schooling is.

At the same time, when we have agreed to take in a student beneficiary, he or she will need to sign an agreement to pledge not only to study hard, but to do a number of hours each year community work. The idea behind this is so that they could learn not just to receive but to give as well.
