VTC enrolment boost with FOCHTA and TEVETA MOU

FOCHTA has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Technical, Entrepreneurial and Vocational and Education Training Authority (TEVETA), in the presence of the Luchenza District Assembly. This memorandum is essentially an agreement by which TEVETA will recruit, and then pay for up to 50 students to come to learn tailoring and carpentry at our VTC.

TEVETA is a quasi-governmental, regulatory body established by an Act of Parliament with the mandate to coordinate and facilitate vocational training, among others.

This is the second time FOCHTA has obtained such an agreement from TEVETA for which we are very proud and from now on, we shall be designated as a TEVETA service provider. The students who will be sent to us will, in addition to being trained, be facilitated by TEVETA in assessment and certification.
