International Women’s Day Fundraising event in Sydney
Over 60 people attended a fundraising dinner held in Sydney on March 8 in the home courtesy of Fabia Claridge. The occasion was to mark International Women’s Day. Guest speaker was Sem Mabuwa, a women’s rights and HIV/AIDS activist. This was followed by a duet performance by cellist Anna Rex and violinist RAchel Thompson, followed by a classical guitarist peice performed by Ian Cox. The money raised on the evening will be used for girls initiative programs.
