Video teaching program aimed at enhancing student’s performance in class

As a way of promoting student performance in class, FOCHTA has started showing education videos once a week at its office. The aim is to enhance student’s performance in class through learning by watching. This is in response to the low performance of some students in government examinations.

The program is targeting both FOCHTA student beneficiaries and non-FOCHTA students. Subjects covered include biology and English literature studies.

FOCHTA staff will be facilitating the program with questions and answers series. It is expected that the program will improve students’ English listening and writing skills and to understand science subjects better.

The materials have been donated by Jillian Hopkins.
