Literacy and life skills workshop

In early August FOCHTA organised activities with the aim of equipping its beneficiaries with some of the skills needed to navigate through the shoals of life. The young people took part in a debate, a quiz, a writing competition, drama, goal setting exercises, leadership styles and a football match against the Lolo team, which the FOCHTA team lost. All participants received two notebooks, a pen and two tablets of soap. Winners in each section were awarded with mathematical instruments, pens and notebooks.

The program was organised and conducted by Amadu, Dyton, Charles and Nenani, all of whom were FOCHTA beneficiaries, who have now gone on to tertiary education. Charles Sokoso is FOCHTA’s Programmes Officer
