Letter of thanks from a FOCHTA beneficiary

Brenda Jeremia studies nursing in the Kamuzu College of Nursing. She is completing a four year Bachelor of Science majoring in Midwifery and Nursing. She is in her 3rd year and is supported personally by FOCHTA patron Claude Ho.

Brenda recently emailed Claude this letter of thanks.

Good morning,
I hope you are fine, I am fine too

This is to express my appreciation and update you on my academic undertakings.

First and foremost, i want to thank you for the passion you have towards me and my family.Visiting my family and home in general means alot to me, it was a great honor hosting you in my own home and my family was so happy to see you. I also would like to thank you for the financial and material support you through the organization are still providing.

School opened on monday,11th June 2012. Its now into its 2nd week in the second semester of third year.The following are the courses we are taking this semester;

1.Midwifery science
2.Gynaecology
3.Sexually transmitted infections
4.Adolescent health
5.Family planning

We will cover theory of all these courses in the first six weeks and we will do their practical sessions in the following 18 weeks.To me the practical time is long enough for hands on learning but i think the theory content is too much to be covered in 6 weeks.All in all i hope with good time management and hard working, God will help me manage my academic work.

Lastly i wish you good luck and all the best, Brenda
