FOCHTA donates goats to grandmothers
With support from Brett Johnson, FOCHTA has procured and donated six goats to Gogoz groups for pass on program. FOCHTA introduced the Gogoz support project in 2006. The project serves to empower the caregivers (grandparents) economically so that they are able to support financially the OVC in their households. Apart from goats pass on, the grannies also do bee farming. In a decade many grannies have ably supported their children meeting both basic and educational needs.
