Visit by a Financial Consultant
FOCHTA is very appreciate of the recent two visits by Mr Richard Githinjil to give us advice as how best we streamline our accounting system and control. Mr Githinjil, a financial consultant based in South Sudan & Nairobi, is currently in Malawi on the request of Goal Malawi to assist them in accounting procedures. His expertise has carried him all over Africa doing consultancy work. Mr Githinjil has given some very valuable advice to FOCHTA, briefing its board as well as to its finance officer Mr Jacob Chiseko. On Mr Githinhil’s departure from our office, he made the following comment.
“I feel honoured to have been associated to work with such committed people like you all here. I don’t have any doubt that if you continue with the same spirit and the same commitment, FOCHTA will be a strong and valuable NGO in Malawi. I admire your team spirit and the honesty with which you are working together. Nobody feels bad when s/he receives hard questions, because you seem to be all people of positive minds. I really had a great experience with you even if it was very short. I hope that we will continue keeping in touch by emails and WhatsApp. I wish you all the best of luck and good success to FOCHTA. Keep it up.”
