Fundraising in Belgium

FOCHTA would like to give its heartfelt thanks to Danielle Moucq and her friends who organised a recent fundraising event in Belgium for FOCHTA. This was not the first time that Danielle had organized an event to raise money for FOCHTA, but has in fact done so for at least twice a year in the past ten years or so, often in different themes. These have included golf tournaments, concerts, dinners, movie shows, etc.

This recent event was an exhibition of artworks, from sculptures to paintings, including an Australian Aborigine artist. The event was held at the Rollebeek Gallery located in the famous Sablon Square in Brussels, courtesy of its manager Mr Jean Louis Caudron, which offered the gallery to FOCHTA for ten days from November 17, 2016. Mr.Caudron also offered a great sculpture that he had made out of recycled materials collected from waste areas. Danielle and her team organised a cocktail reception at the opening to guests attending.

She is planning to organise an auction on March 28, this time to sell the rest of the donated artworks. In addition, in March 28, she will organise a golf competition that will be followed by a dinner party.

Much gratitude is extended to Danielle and her friends and supporters as listed below who have made the event a success:
