FOCHTA Vocational Training Centre Staff members
With the completion of the VTC, the FOCHTA office has been moved to this new site.
The combined team of FOCHTA office staff and VTC staff are:
Zione Matale: Executive Director
Nenani James: Programs Officer. He has seven years’ experience as a Program Officer and has a Diploma in Community Development. He is currently studying part-time for a Diploma in Youth Development at Bunda College.
Bright Denmark: Office Administrator. He has obtained an Advanced Cert. in Administraive Studies and is currently doing a part-time course in Accountancy
Nyadani Mutchona: Community Facilitator. He has a Cert. in Primary School Teaching
Austin Kambalame: Head Instructor & Principal of the VTC. He has a B. Sc. (Irrigation Engineering). He now teaches students IT at the VTC. In addition, he oversees the running of the agriculture course
Elizabeth Mberenga: Receptionist. She has obtained a Cert. in IT and has five years working experience
James Mphaya: Consultant to agriculture activities at FOCHTA. He graduated in 2015 with a B. Sc. Agronomy.
Alice Kolani: Office Assistant
Biswick Kabambe: Tailoring Instructor. He has a Level 3 TEVETA Cert. in Tailoring and Design with 3 years’ work experience.
Emmanuel Msafiri: IT Instructor. He obtained a Diploma in Computer Science at Chancellor College in 2014. Currently he is in 2nd year of a Bachelor Computer Science at Mzuzu University.
Yohane Pharao: Carpentry Instructor. He has completed levels 1 to 3 Certs of Carpentry and Joinery and has three years’ experience.
Thomas Bokosi: Carpentry Assistant. He has completed a carpentry course at TEVETA.
Note: Nenani, Bright, Austin, Alice and James were former FOCHTA beneficiaries but they had to compete with other applicants for the same positions.
