FOCHTA student chosen to sit on mock Parliament

FOCHTA is proud that Innocent Banda, a Form 4 student, has been chosen to be a junior member of parliament in a mock sitting of parliament, a rare honour, when he will be travelling to the capital to join his other peers in March to participate in this meaningful event.

Innocent is a very fine student, having come 3rd in his class of 36. His father died when he was young leaving his mother to look after him and his sister, who is now studying clinical science. Unfortunately, his mother has been suffered from kidney problem for some years. This requires her to travel by bus twice a week, taking over two hours each way to the nearest city to receive dialysis treatment.  It is the desire of Innocent to study theology when he finishes secondary schooling.
