FOCHTA IT Students Successful in External Exams

Recently, three IT students passed Level 4 and two students passed Level 5 exams. These exams are conducted by the Association of Business Managers & Administrators or ABMA. This body is an awarding organisation based in the UK, and recognised by The Office of Qualifications & Examinations Regulation.

FOCHTA’s VTC currently has 22 students enrolled in IT. These include two students who are studying on the weekends, as they work on weekdays.

IT teacher Emmanuel Phiri is very happy with the results, saying that, “ as a teacher, I  did not expect such a wonderful outcome, considering the challenges students had to face”.

FOCHTA is very appreciative of Emmanuel’s good work. He has also set an example, taking time after work to give tuition to some secondary students, helping them with science subjects.
