Beekeeping course held for Gogoz
A beekeeping course held in February 2011 at the FOCHTA office will hopefully provide another income source for FOCHTA Gogoz beneficiaries. The two-day course attracted seven participants who learnt the basics of beekeeping as well as how to practically collect honey using all the necessary protection! Unfortunately there were only four bee protection suits available. In the future to make the FOCHTA beekeeping programme viable, two bee protection suits, two smokers, two pairs of gloves and boots need to be purchased.
